I offer a free consultation and measuring service at your home and can advise you on the choice of curtain headings, linings and design features.

There are many curtain headings available including pencil pleat, triple and double pleat, goblet and eyelets, (examples of which are shown below).

Quality linings are used and curtains can also be interlined (adding a layer of thicker fabric between the curtain fabric and lining), which creates a sumptuous, softer look with rounded edges and folds while improving insulation. If light is an issue, blackout lining can be added.

All my curtains are made to the highest standards using traditional handsewn methods and with meticulous attention to detail.

Special attention is given to patterned fabric to achieve the perfect placement of the pattern across the curtain.

The layers of fabric, lining and interlining are skilfully stitched together with an interlocking stitch ensuring that the curtain hangs beautifully.

Curtains can be embellished with a wide range of trimmings to create a bespoke look. Alternatively, a contrast or complementary fabric border or inset band can be added.
